268 students get jobs at fair

CHANDIGARH:Post Graduate Government College, Sector 42, organised ‘Mega Job Fair’, in collaboration with the ESSCI (Electronics Sector Skill Council of India), at the college campus here on Saturday.

Post Graduate Government College, Sector 42, organised ‘Mega Job Fair’, in collaboration with the ESSCI (Electronics Sector Skill Council of India), at the college campus here on Saturday. 

As many as 23 companies such as TVS Electronics Ltd, Distil Technology Pvt Ltd, lnoventic (Microtek), Tata Strive, Sankalp, Saarthi Associates, AVM, Pacific Technologies, Roots Analysis, Quik Relations Private Limited, Tech Mahindra, started the process of hiring. 

As many as 750 students participated in the event from 49 institutions from Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan. As many as 268 students were given Letter of Intent (LOIs).
