6 city hockey players in national camp

Chandigarh, May 18

Two girls and four boys from the city have been selected for the junior national hockey coaching camp to be held at the SAI Centre in Bengaluru from May 24 to July 3. 

The players — Chanchal and Amritpal Kaur (girls) and Mandeep, Sukhjeet Singh, Sanjay and Maninder Singh (boys) — were picked for the national camp following their performance in the 7th Junior National Hockey India Championship for Men & Women held in Bhopal, the UT Sports Department said on Thursday.
