CHANDIGARH:Ashiana Public School, Sector 46, defeated St. Kabir Public School, Sector 26, 15-6 in the opening match of boys’ U-13 category in the St. Kabir Inter-School Basketball Championship here today.

Ashiana Public School, Sector 46, defeated St. Kabir Public School, Sector 26, 15-6 in the opening match of boys’ U-13 category in the St. Kabir Inter-School Basketball Championship here today. 

Hriday contributed five points to the victory, while Daksh scored six points in the losing cause. 

St. Peter’s School, Sector 33, beat Gurukul World School, Mani Majra, 30-11, with Adit scoring 14 points for the winning team. 

In the girls’ U-14 category, Strawberry Fields World School, Sector 26, defeated St. Peter’s School 23-4. Broo netted 12 points, while Zara gathered 11 points for the winners. 

In another match, Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, registered a 12-2 win over Gurukul World School. Paridhi was the top scorer for the side with eight points. 

Learning Paths School, Mohali, overcame Saupin’s School, Sector 32, 9-8.
