Candidates fret over date clash of entrance exams

Chandigarh: Candidates preparing for medical entrance exams are fretting over clash of two important exams.

Candidates preparing for medical entrance exams are fretting over clash of two important exams. Panjab University’s common entrance test for under graduate courses is set to clash with the MBBS entrance exam of the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry.

Many students in the region have applied for entrance in both these institutions and are now in a fix. They have urged the PU authorities to shift the date of their entrance exam so that students do not miss out on either one. Dr Sanjay Munjal, incharge of Speech and Hearing Unit at Department of Otolaryngology, PGIMER, has written to the PU authorities regarding the same.
