Grievances meet held at First Commandant IRB

Patiala, June 14

The Sexual Harassment Internal Complaint Committee of the police force held a meeting at the First Commandant Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) Patiala here on Thursday.

Committee member and renowned social worker Gurmeet Kaur Multani was part of the meeting held under the chairmanship of Rajwant Kaur, Additional Commandant, Punjab Police Services (PPS). 

She along with other officials heard the grievances of women workers working at the Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) office and in the battalion. Gurmeet told the women workers that the department would assist them in all matters.

Additional Commandant Rajwant Kaur said a sexual harassment internal committee had been formed to address women issues, including those of sexual harassment.
