CHANDIGARH:High Court defeated Punjab Communication by 48 runs in the ongoing Tricity Premier Cricket League, organised by Chandigarh Police, on Tuesday.

High Court defeated Punjab Communication by 48 runs in the ongoing Tricity Premier Cricket League, organised by Chandigarh Police, on Tuesday. 

Batting first, High Court posted 105 runs before getting all-out in 15.4 overs. Deshraj (21) and Vikas Soni (18) were the two main scorers for the side. Gopal claimed four wickets, while Surinder took three for the bowling side. In reply, Punjab Communication folded their innings on 54 runs in 16 overs. Pawan (19) was the only highest scorer for the side. 

Jatinder and Sandeep claimed three wickets each, while Gurdeep Rana took two for the bowling side. The second quarterfinal of the championship will be played on Wednesday.
