Chandigarh: A thief was arrested while stealing scrap material from a plot in the Industrial Area, Phase I. According to the police, complainant Dhruv Sharma, manager, Mittal Cutters Allied Works, reported that Hanumante, a resident of Sanjay Labour Colony, Phase I, was caught while stealing 10-kg iron plates, 15-kg iron stands on October 16. The police were informed about the incident and the suspect was arrested. A case has been registered at the Industrial Area police station. — TNS
