Modi College win Soft Tennis c''ship

PATIALA:Multani Mal Modi College won Punjabi University Inter-College Soft Tennis (Boys) championship.

Multani Mal Modi College won Punjabi University Inter-College Soft Tennis (Boys) championship. This tournament was organised at Government Rajindra College, Bathinda. 

The host team stood second in the event. Principal Dr Khushvinder Kumar congratulated the winners and assured that college would keep on providing best facilities to the sportspersons. 

Dr Gurdeep Singh, Dean Sports, said the wining team comprised Pankaj Garg, Gurpreet Singh, Ankush Mishra, Damanjeet Singh and Abhiraj Batra. 

The Soft Tennis (Girls) team of Multani Mal Modi College ranked second in the tournament. The players included Yukta Sharma, Manpreet Kaur, Prabhsimran Kaur, Arpna and Hiteshi.  The principal lauded Dr Nishan Singh, Head, Sports Department, Prof Harneet Singh and Prof Mandeep Kaur.
