MPKirron Kher meets Badnore

Chandigarh, July 13

MP Kirron Kher on Friday met UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore and handed him over a list of pending development works, along with major problems, in villages, which need to be addressed.

Badnore assured Kher that the pending works would be started soon. On the directions of Badnore, Kher held a meeting with village sarpanches and members of the Panchayat Samiti and the Zila Parishad on Thursday.

He had asked Kher to hold a meeting with representatives of all villages and talk about their needs and prepare the list so that the pending works could be started. The main common problems of the villages, which were highlighted in the meeting, included re-carpeting of roads, replacement of old sewage and water pipelines and repair non-functional streetlights. — TNS
