Normal winter likely in city

CHANDIGARH: While most parts of the country are expected to witness warmer than average minimum temperatures, the city is likely to have normal winter.

While most parts of the country are expected to witness warmer than average minimum temperatures, the city is likely to have normal winter.

The IMD winter season minimum temperatures outlook for December-February indicates warmer than average minimum temperatures over most parts of the country, except northern states.

“There is a probability that Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and adjoining areas will see a bit above normal temperatures from December to February,” said Met Director Surender Paul.
