The University School of Open Learning (USOL), Panjab University, organised a national seminar on ‘Guru Nanak and Our Times’ to mark the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev today. Punjabi poet Dr Surjit Patar, also the Chairman of the Punjab Arts Council, focused on various dimensions of Nanak’s thinking as poetry, philosophy, cosmology, ecology music, humanism and other social concerns. — TNS
