Sharma new Ambala DC

A 2009-batch Haryana cadre IAS officer Ashok Kumar Sharma has been posted as the new Deputy Commissioner of Ambala today. He will replace IAS officer Sharandeep Kaur Brar, who had proceeded on leave, said an official spokesperson.

Sharma, who was at present, posted Director, Seconday Education and Special Secretary, School Education, was among the nine IAS officers shifted in the state. He will also hold an additional charge of the Estate Officer for management of government land in excised area in Ambala Cantonment.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ambala, Shakti Singh, a 2012-batch Haryana cadre IAS officer, has been shifted to Jind on the same post, besides he has been given an additional charge of Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Jind. No officer has been posted at his place yet. — TNS
