Varsity scholar to attend Nobel Laureates meet in Germany

PATIALA:A research scholar from the Department of Basic and Applied Sciences, Punjabi University, will participate in the 69th Lindau Nobel Laureates Meeting to be held in Lindau (Germany), from June 30 to July 5.

A research scholar from the Department of Basic and Applied Sciences, Punjabi University, will participate in the 69th Lindau Nobel Laureates Meeting to be held in Lindau (Germany), from June 30 to July 5. 

University Vice-Chancellor, Dr BS Ghuman, congratulated Megha Jain, who is a doctoral student at the Department of Physics.

Officials said, “Each year Noble Prize winners meet in Lindau (Germany) to discuss issues of importance to their field with students from around the world.” “Megha Jain will interact with 40 Noble Laureates for a week,” they said. — TNS
