DSGMC hikes DA of school staff

New Delhi: Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjinder Singh Sirsa said on Saturday that the dearness allowance of staff members in Guru Harkrishan Public Schools (GHP) had been increased. The decision was taken at the general house meeting of the DSGMC held today. Earlier, the GHP school staff was not getting salaries timely. "Now they are getting salaries in time and will also get dearness allowance hiked for them from next month," said Sirsa. The DSGMC is running 12 branches of GHP schools in different areas of the capital. He expressed gratitude to the staff members who showed their commitment and worked sincerely even though they did not get their salaries timely due to the economic crisis in the DSGMC in the recent past. tns
