In presence of Minister of Renewal Energy, RK Singh, Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan and Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, solar energy plant of 1.5 megawatt was installed at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib. SAD MP Prem Singh Chandumajra and National Minorities Education Commission member Prof Jaspal Singh were also present on the occasion.
The plant was installed at Lakhi Shah Vanjara Hall after ardaas.
Addressing the people, DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK and general secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa said solar energy would be used for the use of people in the Gurdwara.
