Two held with 1,200g contraband

NEW DELHI:The police have busted an inter-state drug racket which was supplying charas (Green Ice, Hashish) and arrested two accused Moti Lal and Kuldeep Sharma, both residents of Kulu (HP) in this connection, said a police official.

The police have busted an inter-state drug racket which was supplying charas (Green Ice, Hashish) and arrested two accused Moti Lal and Kuldeep Sharma, both residents of Kulu (HP) in this connection, said a police official.

The police have seized 1,200 g charas worth Rs 1.2 crore in the international market and recovered a gypsy having a logo of "Raid De Himalaya Official Vehicle", which is used in transporting the contraband, with a mobile handset with SIM cards used in drug trafficking, said DCP Ram Gopal Naik (crime branch).

On April 22, information was received that two drug suppliers indulged in supplying of charas in Delhi would come to supply a consignment near Majnu Ka Tilla Gurdawara, outer ring road, he said.

A trap was laid near the spot and apprehended two persons. — TNS
