Two days after a boy was caught copying at Government Senior Secondary School in Siarh village, the motorcycle of superintendent of examination centre, Sukhwinder Singh, was damaged by unidentified persons. The incident took place this afternoon, when the computer examination was in progress.

According to the officials of the Education Department, an unidentified person entered the school and damaged the new Enfield Bullet motorcycle of the superintendent.

It was on March 20, when a boy was caught copying during the Punjabi exam. The boy had reportedly entered into a heated argument with the examination supervisor Sukhwinder Singh, who had recovered slips and made a copying case against the boy.

Sources said while leaving the examination centre, the boy threatened to settle scores with the supervisor.

Sukhwinder Singh had lodged a complaint against unidentified persons for damaging the motorcycle.

Sukhdarshan Singh, President of the Nakal Virodhi Teacher Front, said the incident has yet again brought to fore the poor security arrangement around examination centres.

Before the beginning of examination, the police had imposed Section 144 of the CrPC prohibiting the assembly of four and more persons in the vicinity of examination centre, said Sukhdarshan.
