Three suspected dengue deaths were reported from the tricity today,  including that of one Zirakpur resident and one Mohali resident. If confirmed, the Tricity dengue toll will go up to 17.

If confirmed, this will be the second dengue death from Zirakpur in two days. Meanwhile, four confirmed cases of dengue and 22 suspected were reported from various health centres of the city here today, taking the total number of confirmed cases from the tricity to 1,047.

Earlier, five deaths have been reported from city hospitals, including one patient each from Yamunanagar, Kharar, Jalandhar, Jind and Raipur Rani. Apart from this, two dengue deaths each have been reported from Mohali and Panchkula.
