State BJP in charge Anil Jain said that former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had made the provision of Cabinet minister-like facilities for the former chief ministers to fulfil his personnel interests, but the BJP government had withdrawn the facilities in public interest.

Talking to mediapersons here today, Jain accused Hooda of spreading corruption across the state through land deals.

“Hooda had realised during the fag end of his government that the Congress would not retain power after the 2014 elections. Hence, he made arrangement for availing the facilities on par with the Cabinet minister even after being out of power. This was a petty politics played by Hooda,” Jain said.

The BJP leader alleged that Hooda had worked for arranging costly land of Gurgaon and other cities for Congress president Sonia Gandhi and her son-in-law Robert Vadra through unfair means.

Regarding notification for reservation to the Jats, Jain said the state government had extended the reservation to the Jats and four other castes in the government jobs. “Since it is a constitutional process, the notification will be issued soon after completion of the process,” he added.

Later, Jain accompanied by Health Minister Anil Vij reached Kosli town where he addressed party workers at the residence of Cooperative Minister Vikram Singh Yadav.

Vij said four catheterisation laboratories (cath labs) would be setup in four districts of the state under a pilot project in view of rising numbers of heart patients.
