Chill: Schools to open at 9.30 am

LUDHIANA: Due to the foggy weather conditions and low temperature, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Ravi Bhagat has directed all government/private/aided/affiliated schools/anganwadi centres to change the school timings.

Ludhiana, January 19

Due to the foggy weather conditions and low temperature, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Ravi Bhagat has directed all government/private/aided/affiliated schools/anganwadi centres to change the school timings.

The Deputy Commissioner, under Section 144, has ordered that the schools will open at 9.30 am. The changed timings will come into effect from January 20 to January 28.

Bhagat said many road accidents had been caused due to the fog, so the school timings had been changed to prevent any further mishaps.
