DHARAMSALA: Congress workers, led by the pradhan of the Kaliara panchayat, today carried out a protest march in Dharamsala against the demonetisation by the NDA government.

Dharamsala, January 19

Congress workers, led by the pradhan of the Kaliara panchayat, today carried out a protest march in Dharamsala against the demonetisation by the NDA government.

The protesters tried to burn an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi but the police prevented them from doing so. The protesters alleged that demonetisation had hit the small farmers and traders. The prices of vegetables that were source of income to the farmers of Kangra district had gone down after demonetisation and farmers had been hit.
