Dhumal: Corruption at its peak in state

HAMIRPUR: Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal claimed that the people of the state had lost trust in the state government.

Hamirpur, February 24

Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal claimed that the people of the state had lost trust in the state government. He alleged that the government had no vision for the uplift of the poor and for the development of the state.

“Corruption is at its peak in the state and the Opposition will make corruption a issue of discussion in the coming Vidhan Sabha session,” he said.

Dhumal claimed that the government had failed on all the fronts.

He said the government should act with responsibility instead of keeping the government machinery busy in “framing cases against its political rivals”. He claimed that there were a number of instances when courts at different levels had dismissed many of the cases filed by the government. — OC
