Dispensary inaugurated at Dulwan

KHAMANO: The Shobha Singh Memorial Free Dispensary and a medical camp was inaugurated by Forest and SC/BC Welfare Minister Sadhu Singh Dharmsot in Dulwan village near here today.

The Shobha Singh Memorial Free Dispensary and a medical camp was inaugurated by Forest and SC/BC Welfare Minister Sadhu Singh Dharmsot in Dulwan village near here today. The medical camp was organised by NRI Gurjit Singh in memory of his father in the village.

In his address Dharmsot said planting of samplings was the need of the hour to save environment and prevent temperature from rising. He said, “I will direct officials to plant trees on a mass level.”

While lauding efforts of NRI Gurjit Singh he said others should follow such acts. The minister also presented a cheque of Rs 1 lakh for the village dispensary.

The area MLA, Gurpreet Singh GP, thanked the minister, besides others for attending the function. He said the government was drawing plans for the upliftment of the state. Congress leaders Harbans Singh Pandher, Dr Amarjit Sohal and Surinder Singh were also present on the occasion. — OC
