Gangotri temple to reopen on April 28

DEHRADUN: The portals of the Gangotri temple, one of the Char Dham shrines of Uttarakhand, will open on April 28 at 12.15 pm.

The portals of the Gangotri temple, one of the Char Dham shrines of Uttarakhand, will open on April 28 at 12.15 pm.

Gangotri Temple committee’s chairman Mukesh Semwal said the portals of the Gangotri temple would open for pilgrims on April 28 at 12.15 pm. The palanquin carrying idol of Goddess Ganga will depart from his winter abode on April 27 at 1 pm and reach the Gangotri temple on April 28 after making a night halt at the Bhairav temple.
