GGNIVS organises industrial visit

GGNIVS organised an industrial visit to the BSNL for all the batches of BSc (IT) students to give a glimpse of the functioning of different departments such as transmission zone, base station controller and main server section.

GGNIVS organised an industrial visit to the BSNL for all the batches of BSc (IT) students to give a glimpse of the functioning of different departments such as transmission zone, base station controller and main server section. The students were made aware about how exchanges in different cities are connected and how mobile phone works. There was a brief interactive session of students with the officials. Students asked questions from the officials to know the technicalities. They were also apprised of raid system.

Student wins rangoli contest at youth fest

Students of Malwa Central College of Education for Women participated in co-curricular activities. One of the students from the college, Kamalpreet Kaur, represented Panjab University, Chandigarh, and participated in inter-university National Youth Festival held during 2016-2017 at Shivaji University, Kolhapur. She secured third position in 'Rangoli'. Department of Youth Welfare of Panjab University, Chandigarh, awarded her with medal and roll of honor for outstanding student artist of the university. Principal Naginder Kaur appreciated her for the achievements and wish her success in the future also.

Farewell party held at GGNIMT

The second year students of GGN Institute of Management & technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines, organised a farewell party, 'Rukhsat' to bid adieu to the senior batches. The gala event began with the welcome note by Gurpreet Singh Bhatia of BCA and Chakx Asis Singh of BCom IV. The group songs by Prabhjot Singh of BBA VI semester and Gurpreet Singh of BCA IV semester were cherished by all. In under graduation category 'Mr Farewell' and 'Ms Farwell' was won by Aman Chopra and Varinder Kaur respectively of B Com VI semester. In postgraduate category 'Mr Farewell' won by Faizal Khan of BCom and 'Miss Farewell' won by Tanvi. Both were from MBA department — TNS
