Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday said the state government was considering awarding the construction work of Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) expressway to National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to expedite completion of the project.

Addressing a function organised by the Delhi BJP to felicitate him on becoming the Chief Minister, Khattar said the completion of the project would help decongest traffic in the national capital.
He assured that the state would provide water to Delhi within its own given resources on humanitarian ground; the state has no source of water.  He gave broad indication the litigation between Haryana and Delhi pending in court with regard sharing of water will be amicably resolved by the two sides through “discussion”.
Referring to his government's decision to annul the preceding Congress government's decision to raise the ceiling of age of retirement from 58 to 60 years, he said: “The previous government had scaled up the ceiling with a political motive. It wanted to reap political dividends. The present government has brought back the age of retirement to 58 years to provide more employment opportunities to the youth.”
He said that now on-line registration of an FIR could be lodged in any police station.
A provision is being made to start online registry land transaction to inject transparency in dispensation.
