JIND: Three motorcycle-borne assailants shot at the son of an INLD worker in his house at HUDA Colony here today. The victim has been identified as Satinder Singh (19). He was shot in the abdomen. He is under treatment at the PGIMS, Rohtak. His condition is said to be out of danger.

Three motorcycle-borne assailants shot at the son of an INLD worker in his house at HUDA Colony here today.

The victim has been identified as Satinder Singh (19). He was shot in the abdomen. He is under treatment at the PGIMS, Rohtak. His condition is said to be out of danger.

Satinder’s father, Dharminder Singh, said: “My son was standing near the gate of the house when miscreants shot at him and escaped within no time.” He was taken to the Civil Hospital in a critical condition, from where he was referred to the PGIMS.

“I do not have any rivalry with anyone. I have no clue why my son was targeted,” Dharminder said.

SSP Rakesh Kumar Arya said the police had registered a case against unidentified miscreants. — OC
