The accusations made by AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal  against Congress state chief Amarinder Singh and ex AAP convener and president of Aapna Punjab Party Sucha Singh Chhotepur led to a war of words between the  leaders.

While Kejriwal took on Capt Amarinder directly, his alliance partner and ex-Congress MP Jagmeet Brar took on Chhotepur.

The exchange took place after The Tribune uploaded an exclusive video of an interview with Arvind Kejriwal on its web edition.

Chhotepur reacted by accusing Kejriwal of selling tickets for the Punjab Assembly elections. Brar came to Kejriwal’s aid, questioning the credentials of Chhotepur.

Chotepur hit back at Brar, saying he was not loyal as he had left a party which he served for 35 years.

In another tweet, he alleged Brar had taken money from Sukhbir Badal in the 2004 elections to change his seat.

Brar, terming the allegations baseless, said there was video evidence of Chhotepur’s corruption.

Kejriwal confronted Amarinder Singh on Twitter, questioning the ‘deal’ he had struck with the Akalis, who let him off the hook in a vigilance case against him.

Amarinder responded by accusing Kejriwal of ‘hallucinating’ as he was no longer winning 100 seats in the state. He also advised Kejriwal not to see stars during the day.
