Leopard injures youth in Dehradun

Dehradun: A leopard attacked a youth in the thickly populated Raipur road area in downtown Dehradun on Wednesday.



Dehradun: A leopard attacked a youth in the thickly populated Raipur road area in downtown Dehradun on Wednesday.

The incident took place in the morning. When victim Sumit entered the bathroom of his Bank Colony residence, he was attacked by a leopard. After injuring Sumit, the leopard rushed out following which Sumit raised an alarm forcing people to come out of their houses. After tracking the leopard, they spotted the beast inside the kitchen of a nearby Raipur road wedding point. The forest authorities cordoned off the wedding point and it was after long time that they finally managed to tranquilise the leopard in the evening.  TNS
