Himanshu Mishra, a spokesperson of the BJP state unit, today said the recent rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mandi had paved way for the comeback of the BJP in the state in the next Assembly elections.

Mishra said the rally had generated an undercurrent in favour of the BJP which had been popular among masses for maintaining the balance in all sections of society and thus, the formation of the BJP government in the next Assembly elections in the state was inevitable.

Mishra said the people of the state were not happy with the prevailing circumstances as corruption was rampant and the development works were going on at a snail’s pace.

Even after the Yug’s murder episode in Shimla, the state government was not bothering to take water samples from the natural sources tapped by the Irrigation and Public Health (IPH) Department for ensuring clean drinking water to the people, he said.
