Chandigarh: There will be no holiday in the UT Administration for Milad-un-Nabi or Id-e-Milad.

Chandigarh: There will be no holiday in the UT Administration for Milad-un-Nabi or Id-e-Milad. 

While the offices of the Central Government, Punjab and Haryana Government will remain closed on December 12, the UT Administration offices will remain open on December 12 and 13. 

Earlier, the holiday was on December 13, but it was advanced to December 12 by the Centre, Punjab and Haryana.

UT Home Secretary Anurag Aggarwal said it was a restricted holiday (RH) and not a gazetted holiday for Milad-un-Nabi in the UT Administration.— TNS
