Ruskin bonds with fans on 84th b’day

Dehradun, May 19 

Writer and Padam Shri awardee Ruskin Bond celebrated his 84th birthday on Saturday among family members and friends in Mussoorie.

While acknowledging greetings from his fans, he also had a piece of advice for his young fans, “To follow their dreams and also respect  elders”. Bond said he would resume writing.“I was little preoccupied with my biography it is already out, now, I will again write for children,” he said.  Bond continues to receive letters from his young fans. “At times, children even offer me advice and share their thoughts about my books ,” added Bond. — TNS
