SP youth wing to hold convention in Nainital

The “Yuvjan Sabha”, the youth wing of the Samajwadi Party, will hold its national convention for the first time in Nainital next month.

As many as 600 office-bearers of the youth wing from across the state will take part in the convention.

Yuvjan Sabha national president Vikas Yadav today said the decision to hold the convention at Nainital had been made keeping in mind the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.

“The party high command is serious about election preparation and penetration in Uttarakhand. The young leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is being admired by youths of the country and as Uttarakhand has been carved out of Uttar Pradesh, it’s a brothers’ relationship between two states. We want to give out a message of good governance as well as the Samajwadi ideology to the youths of hill state,” Vikas said.

Expressing surprise over mass-scale migration from hill districts, Yadav said bad politics and vision-less governments of both BJP and Congress had added to the woes of local people.

He said if the Samajwadi Party was voted to power in the state, the development-oriented governance of Uttar Pradesh would be replicated in Uttarakhand too.

Yuvjan Sabha national vice-president Chandrasekhar Yadav and state president Ashish Yadav said office-bearers of all 13 districts of the state would be given responsibilities to ensure that party makes its stronger base in all districts.

State party president Satya Narayan Sachan, Dehradun Yuvjan unit president Furkan Ahmed, Haridwar unit president Irfan Ali, Mohan Lal, Achpal Singh, Ram Sagar Yadav, Vijay Kumar, Shivendra Prakash, Ragendra Singh Rinki, Devendra Rawat, Ompal Singh, Shiv Kumar and Subash Chand, Ish Kumar, Rajendra Rawat, Mohammed Shami, Pawan Yadav and Dinesh Kumar were present on the occasion.
