Star cast of ‘Vaisakhi List’ comes calling to city

Star cast of Punjabi film ‘Vaisakhi List’, was in city for promotion today. It is a tale of two friends who plan to get back into the jail after escaping from it. The film is releasing tomorrow.

Jimmy Shergill is the lead actor with other film stars Sunil Grover, Shruti Sodhi, Jaswinder Bhalla, Binnu Dhillon, Rana Ranbir, Nisha Bano and Karamjit Anmol being a part of the movie. This presentation of Amolak Singh Gakhal has been produced by Palwinder Singh Gakhal, Gurvinder Singh Gakhal and Iqbal Singh Gakhal. Smeep Kang has directed the film.

Jimmy Sheirgill said: “In simple words, this film is a delight, not only for the makers but also for the takers. When I heard the script, I could not say no because it is so new. I knew Smeep Kang will do wonders with his creativity. This is my first project with him and I am overwhelmed.”

Director Smeep Kang said, “It is my actors’ hard work and my whole team’s effort that we could make such a different film.”

Actor Shruti Sodhi considers herself a student of cinema and says she feels great to be a part of this film.

Meanwhile, Actor Sunil Grover of Comedy Nights with Kapil fame is debuting with this film into the big screen world. He is quite optimistic about his new innings. He said, “It will create a new image for me altogether and I am quite satisfied with my decision. At the end of the day, my duty and responsibility is to entertain my audience and I think this film will become one of the best examples of that.”

Jaswinder Bhalla has been infusing the element of humor in many Punjabi films with his extraordinary timing and dialogue delivery.

One of the producers, Amolak Singh Gakhal said, “We wanted to have all shades of cinema, be it drama, action, emotion, romance or music and we are hopeful that the audience will accept the hard work put in by all the team members for making this amazing film.”
