Youth hurt in attack

CHANDIGARH:A youth was seriously injured after some youths, who were in an inebriated condition, attacked him with sharp weapons after entering a shop at Ram Darbar, Phase I, last night.

A youth was seriously injured after some youths, who were in an inebriated condition, attacked him with sharp weapons after entering a shop at Ram Darbar, Phase I, last night.

According to the police, the victim, Deepak, who works at a meat shop, was assaulted by Raman, Tota, Paadu and some others. 

The assailants left the victim seriously injured. He was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, where he is undergoing treatment.

A case has been registered in this connection at the Sector 31 police station.

The victim claimed that the assailants also took away from the shop.
