Youths vow to give way to ambulance

Patiala: The Patiala branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) in collaboration with Columbia Asia Hospital organised an awareness rally on “Give Way to Ambulance” at the Red Cross Bhawan.



Patiala: The Patiala branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) in collaboration with Columbia Asia Hospital organised an awareness rally on “Give Way to Ambulance” at the Red Cross Bhawan. Over 100 youths participated in the first aid training. Leading the rally, Dr Rakesh Arora, president of the association, appealed to the public that people must make way immediately for ambulance vehicles taking serious patients as they required emergency treatment as early as possible. The participants under the leadership of District Red Cross first aid training officer Jaspal Singh pledged to give way to ambulance and make it a public movement. — TNS
