Chandigarh: The state government has sanctioned 1,957 posts in 16 police stations of the Commissionerate of Police, Faridabad. In addition, 60 posts for housekeeping have been approved. Of the 1,957 posts, seven are of Inspector, 149 of Sub-inspector, 192 of Assistant Sub-inspector, 652 of Head Constable and 957 of Constable, a government spokesman said. In all, 366 posts have been created for the Metro police station, Faridabad. TNS
