BSF man cremated with state honours in Rohtak

ROHTAK: BSF man Jagvinder Singh, who died in Tripura a couple of days ago, was cremated with state honours at his native Ballab village in Rohtak on Saturday.

BSF man Jagvinder Singh, who died in Tripura a couple of days ago, was cremated with state honours at his native Ballab village in Rohtak on Saturday.

State Minister of State for Cooperatives Manish Grover, Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda, Kalanaur MLA Shakuntala Khatak, Rohtak ADC Ajay Kumar and DSP Narayan Chand attended the cremation.

There was no official statement on the circumstances under which Jagvinder Singh died. BSF officials said an investigation in the matter was under way.
