Man killed over old enmity in Jhajjar village

JHAJJAR: A man was allegedly killed and his brother and sister suffered injuries in an attack by a group of assailants at Palda village here on Friday night.

A man was allegedly killed and his brother and sister suffered injuries in an attack by a group of assailants at Palda village here on Friday night. The deceased has been identified as Jalveer. His brother Jagbir and sister Ramkala have been admitted to the health centre at Beri town where their condition is stated to be out of danger.

Old enmity is stated to be the reason behind the attack, while the police have started investigation after registering a case against 11 persons on the complaint of Jalveer’s brother Jaiveer.

Jaiveer alleged that the accused barged into their house around 8.30 pm on Friday. They attacked Jalveer, Jagbir and Ramkala with a sharp-edged weapon before fleeing the spot. The trio was later rushed to the health centre at Beri where Jalveer was declared brought dead. No arrest was made till the filing of the report.
