Mathura MP Hema Malini on Friday sought votes for the BJP candidate from Hodal. She said India had became a shining star abroad due to policies and programmes launched by Narendra Modi government.

“India is in safe hands and the Prime Minister is doing great on various fronts. There is no scope for criticism left for Opposition parties,” she said. She said the decision to abolish Article 370 strengthened the country both internally and externally and everyone should support it.

She said Modi government brought about unparalleled and unprecedented development works for various sections of society and nobody was left with any reason to support or join other parties.

She claimed that every candidate whom she had campaigned for emerged victorious in elections in the past 20 years.

Speaking about water and power supply, she said basic amenities would be taken care of if the BJP retained power in the state.

Describing residents of the state as politically aware people, she said they were expected to choose the better option and ensure victory of the BJP candidate.
