Three arrested for honey theft

REWARI: The police have arrested three members of a gang involved in the theft of honey and seized a pick-up van and motorbike from them.

The police have arrested three members of a gang involved in the theft of honey and seized a pick-up van and motorbike from them. Several cases of theft, loot and attempt to murder have been registered against the gangsters in various police stations of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The accused, identified as Mustafa of Amroha, Dinesh of Bulandshahr and Pintu of Hapur, were nabbed during vehicle checking at a ‘naaka’ near Nagli Parsapur Chowk here on Wednesday night. The accused confessed to their involvement in the theft of honey in Saban village on January 18 and in Budhpur village on January 19, said the police spokesman.
