10 hurt in student clash

Shimla: Ten students were injured in a clash between members of the SFI and the ABVP at the Tagore hostel on the university campus on Friday. Sources said verbal dual led to a scuffle between the two groups in the hostel and members of both the groups attacked each other with sharp weapons, ransacking the hostel. Laptops and other accessories of some students were also burnt. The injured were taken to the IGMC, Shimla. Both the groups accused each other for initiating the fight, the police said. TNS
