189 students take part in cultural event

KANGRA: The two-day ‘Bal Vikas Shivir’ organised by Sri Sathya Sai Seva concluded at Dehra today.

The two-day ‘Bal Vikas Shivir’ organised by Sri Sathya Sai Seva concluded at Dehra today.

Sesh Bushan, district president of the organisation, said the camp, which was held at DAV Senior Secondary School, revolved round the values of the Indian culture and spirituality.

He said 189 students from different parts of Kangra district participated in various events, such as storytelling, ‘shloka’ recitation, Veda chanting, ‘bhajan’ singing and sports activities.

Bushan said children were sponsored by 35 Sri Sai Samitis from the district.
