Anuj wins declamation contest

Nurpur, July 15

Under the cancer awareness campaign launched by the Shashi Gupta Memorial Charitable Trust, declamation and poster making competitions were organised at the Government ITI here on Saturday. The topic of the competition was ‘let’s battle cancer together’.

In the declamation, Anuj, Ashwani, Rohit were adjudged first, second and third, respectively. In the poster making contest, Lekh Raj, Raman and Rohit were declared first, second and third, respectively.

Pradeep Gupta, chief trustee of the trust, said he had lost his parents and wife due to cancer and he was now generating mass awareness on cancer. — OC
