Fresh snowfall at the majestic Rohtang Pass has brought cheer on the faces of hoteliers in Kullu and Manali towns.

Snowfall is considered a boon for the tourism industry in Kullu district as it attracts a large number of tourists during winter season.

However, other tourist places like Solang valley, Gulaba and Marhi near Manali experienced only rain today. The hoteliers were eagerly waiting for the snowfall in Manali and nearby areas to get a boost to tourism activities.

Gajender Thakur, president of the Kullu-Manali Hoteliers’ Association, said the fresh snowfall at the Rohtang Pass would definitely bring more tourists to the area.
