For patients’ ease, new token system at Kakryal hospital

JAMMU: The governing body of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspecialty Hospital (SMVDNSH), Kakryal, on Wednesday announced that token system had been introduced to further systemise the registration process of patients.

The governing body of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspecialty Hospital (SMVDNSH), Kakryal, on Wednesday announced that token system had been introduced to further systemise the registration process of patients.

It also called for deputing a dedicated officer to deal with ECHS and CGHS patients. During the 57th meeting of the governing body of the hospital here, the participants extensively reviewed various aspects of functioning of this tertiary care hospital.

The meeting decided on several short and long-term measures to further strengthen, expand and upgrade the diagnostic and treatment facilities at the hospital, with particular focus on the specialities where the footfall of patients is very high.

Dr Ashok Bhan, member, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and chairman of the hospital governing body, chaired the meeting. Simrandeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Shrine Board; Viren Shetty, Group Chief Operating Officer, NH; and Navneet Bali, Director, Northern Region, NH; participated in the meeting.

The governing body took stock of facilities put in place for the ECHS and CGHS patients, including setting up of dedicated counter at the hospital for their convenience.

Reviewing the status of the outreach activities of the hospital, the meeting underscored the need to conduct more such outreach camps for the benefit of the people at large.
