JALANDHAR: In the ongoing Global Kabaddi League, organised under the aegis of ‘Tandarust Punjab Mission’, two matches were played today at Surjit Hockey Stadium, Burlton Park.

In the ongoing Global Kabaddi League, organised under the aegis of ‘Tandarust Punjab Mission’, two matches were played today at Surjit Hockey Stadium, Burlton Park. In the first match, the team of Black Panthers beat Delhi Tigers 54-41.

Delhi Tigers gave tough fight to Black Panthers in the first two quarters. At half time, Black Panthers were leading by 29-28. In the third and fourth quarters, raiders of Black Panthers proved their mettle as their raiders Navjot Jota and Nirmal Lopo earned 19 and 16 points respectively.

At the end of third quarter Black Panthers consolidated the lead 39-30.

For Delhi team captain Parneeb earned seven points from raids, whereas Black Panther’s Ranjodh stopped the raiders of Delhi team seven times.

In the second match, the team of California Eagle trounced Maple Leaf Canada 62-38.
