HOSHIARPUR: DAV College, Hoshiarpur, has been ranked among the top 100 best colleges of the country in different streams for the second consecutive year.

Hoshiarpur, May 21

DAV College, Hoshiarpur, has been ranked among the top 100 best colleges of the country in different streams for the second consecutive year. The survey for the same was conducted by ‘India Today’. This year, 1,206 colleges were included in the survey as compared to 988 colleges last year.

Dr Anoop Kumar, president, DAV CMC and DL Anand, secretary, DAV CMC acknowledged it as a proud moment. Principal of the college Dr Neerja Dhingra said: “The college has not only secured commendable ranks in various streams but also improved since the last year’s ranking.”

She said the college had been ranked 60th for BA, 82nd for BSc, 78th for BCom and 35th for BCA. An improvement in ranks was possible because of the clear vision of the management and dedication of the college staff towards achieving better results, placement and research goals.
