Debt-ridden farmer ends his life

PHAGWARA: A debt-ridden farmer, identified as Avtar Singh, reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house at nearby Nurpur village last night.

A debt-ridden farmer, identified as Avtar Singh, reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house at nearby Nurpur village last night.  The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
