Phagwara, November 8
Nirmal Kumar (55), a resident of Moti Bazar, was reportedly found murdered with sharp-edged weapons on a deserted plot in Ranjit Nagar on Bhularai Road this morning.
Superintendent of Police, Phagwara, Mandeep Singh, said the deceased went missing last evening.
The police have registered a case under Sections 302 and 34 of the IPC against unknown persons.
The body of the deceased was sent to the local Civil Hospital for autopsy. — OC
